Who we are

Happy Mother Happy Child (HMHC) is a community-based Non-Governmental Organization committed to reducing maternal and child mortality rates. We believe that empowering women is key to achieving a sustainable future and improving the overall health and well-being of families and communities.

Mission

  • Reduce maternal and child mortality rates through collaboration with government, national and international organizations, the private sector, civil society, and youth movements.
  • Place women at the center of economic development to equip them to address challenges facing themselves, their children, families, and communities.
  • Empower women through education and economic opportunities to create a positive impact on their lives and the lives of their children.

Our Vision

Our Vision is to transform the lives of women and children living them to successfully and joyfully thrive by creating a happy, clean, safe, wealthy and healthy environment where survival does not only belong to the fittest, but an inherent right for all;  creating a sustainable livelihood for women and children who are undeniably the future of every nation.

OBJECTIVES

Build long lasting happiness and bonds between mother and child through events and awareness campaigns.

Empower women to participate fully in economic life across all sectors through education, trainings and entrepreneurial development so they can be independent and self-sufficient to support and guarantee the success and wellbeing if their children and entire family.

Identify strategies, design and implement programs of action aimed at reducing maternal and child mortality ratio by at least 40% by 2021 through child development, protection and enhancement activities.

Our Mission

HMHC works to improve the health and wellbeing of mothers and children by economically empowering women in business and entrepreneurship. We work with youths and families to ensure that every mother lives happy, healthy and wealthy and that every child survives and live an exciting childhood to full development.
We are called Happy Mother Happy Child because we try to provide sustainable livelihood for mothers so they can in turn support their families. We try to provide a clean, healthy happy and wealthy environment for mothers and children. When a mother is happy and wealthy her child is happier and lives healthy.
